There’s a huge number of pinned topics and they’ve all devolved into side conversations but they always fill up a lot of real estate when you visit Discussions.
Pinned topics like product announcements should stop being pinned after just a few days!
I don’t like the current setup either, but note that you can unpin the topics locally yourself
