i just read a recent post on unity android forum that someone use a pirated apk and submit it to amazon store with ads.
i was shocked to see that happen, how is it even possible to do , how can we prevent that?

This has been happening for a long time in Google Play and now in Amazon too it seems. These people download existing games or apps and add own code (which is pretty easy) and other stuff in them to show ads or steal information, etc. Theres not much to do about it unless you notice it by yourself if its not detected during store submission. Some of these games even get their art and name so replaced its really hard to detect it.
