Hello guys I am doing my first pixel art game, but I am a little confuse about the setup to keep it 1x1 on pixels.
I am trying to avoid under/over sampling the sprites.
How do I import or setup my scene so the images stay true to it original resolution.
if you are doing 8/16 bits pixel art, import your art assets with point sampling and no other filtering, it shouldnt matter as they are treated with nearest neighbour rule and become quasi resolution independent
it all depends on the scale of things, i use 2dtoolkit and i explicitly use the scale of 16 pixels per meter and a orthographic camera of size 8, which will be 16 meters tall and everything looks great
but the most important factor is NOT using bilinear or trilinear filtering, with point sampling it will never look blurry
