I’ve researched this for a bit and have gotten no where. Having a pixilation issue. Looks and acts normal in Photoshop and 3ds Max. Unity - it is pixelated.
I’m trying to just create a dirty cement floor with one detailed texture at 2048 (going with the whole texel density theory) on a plane. What am I doing wrong?
Take a look at the quality settings and look at the maximum texture resolution. I suspect the quality setting the editor is using has a lower max texture resolution.
Im not the greatest working with textures, I do know in Blender though, the texture can stretch, IE: look pixelated (especially if its not UV), if the object the texture is trying to fit is larger than the actual object, so, maybe try reducing the size of the floor, and see if that condenses the texture, otherwise, it might be an import setting thing, on the actual texture itself, look in the inspector for importing it, and see if anything there is a factor. Again, not the best with textures, cause I dont get too serious with them right now.
