Placing an Object by its top left point

I want to place an object at an vector by the object’s top left point.

Like in flash u can change what they call registration point

An easy way to accomplish this is to create an empty child object, place the child object in the corner you want to use as an anchor, the make the large object a child of the empty child object. Now you can use the empty game object to position the child object.
