Plane and terrain intersection flickering in distance

Hello, I got a problem with the new terrain I am making for my game.

Apparently, that water plane and the terrain intersection (and as you can see on the screenshot it’s very jagged) starts to flicker while I move around, and I have no idea how to fix that. I understand it’s some kind of a distance rendering thingie but its very noticeable and I was wondering if there is some painless way to fix it.

Decrease the camera’s far clipping plane and/or increase the near clipping plane as much as possible.
