Hey everyone, this is Pathea Games’ action sandbox rpg game Planet Explorers. It’s an open world voxel based action adventure rpg. It uses an opencl program we wrote in c++ to calculate the voxels into mesh, then Unity reads in the data and gives it collision. We’re doing a lot of various other voxel related tech, such as multimaterials, LOD, streaming in chunks, calculating the LOD shapes while building, etc. It’s been fun and tough, since Unity wasn’t exactly made for this, but it’s still able to pull off a lot of the things we want. The Unity Asset store was also instrumental in saving us time and money, take our weather system, for example, it’s actually a mix of 3 weather programs on the asset store. Now we finally have a reasonable build to show off. So…

We are also running a Kickstarter and are on Steam Greenlight, so we could use any help you could offer (tell the media, any media, no one seems to be interested in reporting our game.
