Planet Mirano: made with Unity!

For PC, MAC, iPhone 4+, iPad 1+ (Opengl 2.0+ only)
In theory more than 100 Millions poly on the screen, but in reality no more than 128k at a time with 80 drawcalls.
Terrain is made by http:www.Unity3dx.com (I will sell those LOD terrains soon) using custom made shaders.

Just using the stock Full screen shaders, with the correct settings. Vignette + Cease + Sun Shaft in ‘Holliwood mode’ + fog.

Yes…and iPad 1. It is looking awesome. There are a lot of tricks in order to populate so many polys… normal mapping but also LOD. The far distance mountains are really using almost no poly. But because they are far, you cannot see it.
Nothing is drawn in the skybox, it would not feel the same if it was the case.
The iPhone version has less poly than the one in the video, also the textures are smaller. But because of the size of the iPhone, you see no difference.

Awesome! When you sell it, are you just going to be selling the terrain, or will you be including the LOD technique as well? So we could use it to build our own terrains, maybe? Do you plan on integrating some sort of vegetation as well?
