ohh great, Tutorials about Unity and Blender i love that!!!. And for me is perfect the list special the first 20.

This looks like some great topics. Good luck with this project.

Awesome list elmar. Im no coder but I really appreciate and devour as much quality instructional material as possible related to Unity game development.
Any lighting and shadow tips and best practice you can provide for different game genres would be a great addition to the list you have already compiled.

Hello again!

I am planning on using Wordpress for my website and went looking for a perfect theme!

Here’s what I got so far:
Sidewalk – Write Stories That Inspire - personally my favourite
http://themewich.com/previews/?product=extranews

Let me know which one do you like and if it’s not complex to navigate around

Thanks!

Sidewalk is nice, but IMO you should use something clean and easy to navigate, like something similar to the theme used by Unity Blogs.

Thanks for the input!

Unlike Unity’s blog that shows only unity related news, I am planning to have different topics to talk about and so my website is going to have a front page which showcases different categories and lists. I feel that Sidewalk fits the most.
Note that I can always customize which type of content to show.

Sidewalk Too… like darkhog say, clean is better and more easy to keep the focus of yours topics and info.

How about this one: http://envirra.com/themes/presso/?page_id=366 - Presso

Looks cleaner. What do you guys think?

An entry on 34 called “Make your own MMO” and the answer to that one is to read 1 through 33 first :stuck_out_tongue:

Yes for looks like better, and more easy to read and understand. And you can use the theme who suit better for you and the topics and is going to cover.

Just need how to make an inventory and RPG elements and it’s just about right!

I think so too. Plus second theme supports reviews, which would be pretty convenient for Asset Store/Game reviews!

Well so i think you have everything to settle down, So is only wait for others when you make public the blog. i think you can here too, the others users blogs beside linking related to unity.

Good idea! Will do that after In am done with blog.

My plan is to make several articles before making website live. I am writing on my google doc right now, then migrate the whole info. At the same time I will setup a server + customize theme.

Will let everyone know when the blog is live!

Hello everyone!

Wordpress is ready and first post has been created!

Check it out here! - How to prepare your project for version control - Butbucket and SourceTree

(Note: website is not done yet. Some components may not make any sense. Theme is to be changed).

Honest review on the article. Was it helpful? Any grammar mistakes or typos?

Old posts you see has been transferred from my old blog.

After weeks of work, I am introducing a new website layout!

It’s now easier to navigate around than before.

I will be posting an article on a weekly basis now, as they usually take a lot of time to write and research.

Enjoy!
