My account on PlasticSCM, associated with this Unity account, just had its organization and repo entirely deleted…
What the heck is going on?
That’s really sketchy.
I was force logged out of my Plastic account. When I logged back it, it said I don’t have any orgs or repos at all. Checked on the plastic cloud dashboard too…

For anyone else that runs into this. Several things went wrong here, with the primary problem being me of course.
-
My credit card on file was fine, but for some reason, Unity was unable to auto-bill it, so my account was cancelled.

I didn’t seem to get email alerts to warn me. I have two emails. One is my primary email, but I use the other associated with this account. I still check it several times a week, but I didn’t see these emails. Stupidly, I didn’t check the spam folder on this email. Granted, I might not have got forewarning about this, but I should have checked there once I noticed the problem. So that’s on me.

The Unity dashboard did not make any mention of what happened. My organization and repo seemed to be “deleted”. That is, in my opinion, a mistake in design with PlasticSCM. I think that is Unity’s mistake and they should make it very easy to find what went wrong when this happens.

I had to go to my billing invoices, see an “Inactive” subscription, and then reactivate it with a new credit card to fix this.
So yeah, mostly my fault, but really the problem should be clear in the case that emails were lost in the spam folder.
