In 2021.2, the Standalone PC/Mac/Linux platform architecture dropdowns were changed from x86 to x86_64 to Intel 32-bit/Intel 64-bit. Is this implying that builds will only work on Intel chips? I don’t think this is the case, so why make this change?

x86 and x86-64 architectures is property of intel all others licensing it or use intel CPUs
the same with arm
arm v7-v9 architectures is property of Arm Holdings all others use ARM chipsets or licensing archtecture
Might have something to do with the Apple Silicon releases, since app types there are Intel or Apple.
Microsoft actually calls x86-64, AMD64, which makes the updating naming even funnier though.
The 64bit part is property of AMD.
Which makes this naming even more weird. Why not just call it x86 32-bit and x86 64-bit?
