I have a workstation with dual display cards driving a large, 4 monitor desktop. When I run apps, I run them with the windows spread out. As such, when I run Unity, I have one monitor with 4 split views on it and the Game Window is large on it’s own monitor. The 4 views might be showing TOP, BACK, RIGHT, and PERSP views.
When I go into Play mode, test and then quit Play mode… Unity is always messing up the 4 views. It will change at least one of the 4 views from say BACK to ISO or whatever. Or it will change the TOP view to BACK.
It would be nice if the program didn’t do this.
Is there a setting somewhere that will stop this behaviour?
Thanks!
Thanks for looking into this!
I’m guessing that it might have to do with me having 2 display cards in the workstation… not sure. This is Windows7 64. Sorry for the poor resolution… was trying to keep filesize managable. It happens with a blank project as well.
Attached are two images showing a before and after entering PLAY mode.
When returning from PLAY mode, usually only one of the 4 views is wacked. In the example above, the BACK view was wacked. It happens each time I return from PLAY mode.
Those windows on the right are there because I can… I have a lot of desktop real estate to use. One of the windows is the SpacePilot window, the others are Hierarchy and Project and Animation. I don’t have to change tabs and can see everything at once.
Not a super huge problem… just annoying.
Thanks again.
