Player moving plants

Hello All,

How would I go about making plants move when my player walks by them. Finding it hard to explain really but for example if there was a large banana plant and my player walked into the leaves, I’d like the leaves and plant to be push aside by the player - not the root of the plant moved but it sort of spring around its root…not sure if that’s clear? :-/

If so what unity feature would be best to achieve this?

if plants are created as trees, you can use this

or, if not, you should implement it yourself. offset vertices in shader or programmaticaly deformate meshes based on player position
