Player with CC can push objects with very high mass

Hi, in my game i can chop down trees and they will fall to the ground after i apply a force on the Riggid Body. The problem is that when the tree is falling, it can get launched by the player if i run into the tree. Changing the mass doesnt help. Why does the trees velocity get so high, and can i stop it from getting launched by the player.

is the player moving using the Transform system? yes. it wont care about mass or other physics properties of objects , no. check your rigidbody component settings on both the player and other objects
and check how the player is moving what forces are applied
