Playmaker starter kits. Any interest?

Hello,

I was toying with idea of entering http://onegameamonth.com/ with developing one Playmaker based game a month. Ranging from retro to tower defense. Throughout the year.

I was wondering if there’s any interest if I try to sell this kits as starter kits on Asset store?

Anyone?

Would the Playmaker license actually allow you to do that?

I don’t think Alex should have any problem if I don’t include the playmaker extension assets (aka the playmaker associated folders) with the kit.

Am I right, Alex?

Yeah I dont think unity has a problem as long as you can get permission from the author.

Sounds like a great idea!

I very much like to idea. Go for it! Helps out the dev (Alex) and helps users/developers. A win/win situation if done right and explained (with PDF).

The idea sounds right and since Alex seems to be ok with that, I would say go for it.

Personally I have no need for it. It’s too much fun to figure out by myself, how to get things done in Playmaker.

Thanks Alex, thanks for the awesome tool. I’m really surprised how Playmaker has become THE rapid prototyping tool for me. Even if I transfer the logic to C# later, it’s much fun to brainstorm out the logic, visually, in Playmaker.

I’m also fan of a similar visual logic tool called ICE in Softimage. And I can see thinking visually is definitely my way.

Though entering http://onegameamonth.com/ is more of a personal quest. I wanted to push myself and may be Playmaker too while doing this. It’s a quite heflty challenge, that too while maintaining my ongoing projects.

Thanks everyone, I’m going for it!
