Hello everyone I am very new to unity so please forgive my ignorance. I have been playing with unity for 2 weeks now and have just been playing with the basics. I have not been playing with scripts or anything yet and I seem to have broken my first person controller >< I had an island build and just tossed in the first person prefab and it was working fine for a few now when I hit play I get nothing. Even when I try to load the angry_bots game it come with the game loads fine, but when I hit play it does not enter first person mode at all and i can not move. The game does run the enemy bots move and there is sound but no reaction from the first person controller. I can also edit everything while its running instead before I was “playing my game” when in play mode. Hopefully an easy fix or some setting i can change if someone could help would be awsome so i can get back to work.
It looks like your on your scene mode even when playing.
you probably closed the “Game” tab.
click on Window → Game and doc it wherever you want, i think this should fix it ^^
Wow do I feel dumb that deff fixed it thank you very much. I guess I just thought that was coming up before when I hit play idk anyways tyvm again
