Hi there! What do you think is the most useful and efficient musical notation program around these days? A couple of years back, I used to have Finale where you can just play on a digital piano and send the notes to the computer via a midi cable, but sometimes it would have problems. I wonder what song composers are using this year:)
An amazing software is MAudio protools. You can use instruments that are inside the software and you can plug in instruments as well.

I have gotten to play with it a bit, and it is the best software on the market for music and audio editing.
The price is steep but if you need it, then go for it.
Try out Finale. I messed around with it a while back and it was great.
