Hi, I am creating two point and click games at the same time. I am creating one in Unity, and one in Adventure Game Studio. I find that I am running into trouble creating the point and click game in Unity, it feels that Unity isn’t really meant for point and click format. Are there any tips and tricks to creating a point and click game in Unity?

First there was Adventure Creator, proving it was doable in 2D, 2.5D and 3D. Then UT made this tutorial on the same subject. So yes, it’s perfectly doable ![]()
The tutorial should give you a decent idea, which you just have to translate to 2D. The linked asset gives you a very quick start and a whole game framework too (save/load, inventory management and dialog).
