I’m busy placing a point light indoors, for lighting effects… I have one placed as I want, but I need a string of them in a row, however, when I duplicate the asset it seems to render the original light null… all I’m doing is moving it down a hallway on the x axis… if I turn it off, the original light shows it’s effect again…
any ideas?

It sounds like you’re exceeding the Edit → Project Settings → Quality → Pixel Light Count limit. This number says how many pixel lights can effect an object. Increasing this number should fix your problem.
thanks, I’ll try that, though I only have 3 light sources in the scene so far…
Any idea which setting are applied when running the game view in the IDE?
thanks
thanks… that sorted it out…
still curious as to what quality settings the game view uses, beautiful and fantastic both had enough light sources to be able to render the lights… so I’m guessing a lower quality?
thanks again…
If I had paid closer attention to the editor I would have seen that you can set the editor settings in quality settings!
So asked and answered I guess…
