Hello,
I’m very confused as to why this is happening. I recently released my game on Steam and noticed that in some user created YouTube videos certain lights were missing from my scene (examples below). I decided to run some tests so I sent the build over to my buddy. Both of us have the exact same system specs (we both bought the exact same parts, GPUs, CPUs, RAM, etc, so we could troubleshoot issues together. Strangely, when he runs the game on his system the lights are missing. Why can I see them when I run my build (within and without Steam) but he can not?
System Specs: i7-6700k, 16 GB RAM, 64-bit, GTX 980 Ti, Windows 10
Unity Version: 5.3.3f1
The missing lights are point lights with settings: realtime, 0 bounce intensity, no shadows, render auto, with culling mask.
This is what my build looks like at runtime on my system (correct).
Also correct.
But on other systems (including an identical system) it looks like this at runtime. Point lights are missing.
What is going on??? I’m really pulling hair on this one. Any help will be appreciated! Thanks.
