Poll - preferences for game server setup/config

If you had access to a complete server platform that had features that required a database, how would you prefer to run it?

  1. Install game and database server separately, and configure the database myself.

  2. Vmware/Virtualbox images that are preconfigured and give you a working server when they start.

  3. Hosted by someone else

1 because i want the control over my structure, server should be flexible.
