Polyspatial Play to Device Headpose not being tracked

When connected through Play to Device mode (using the Apple Vision Pro), the head pose doesn’t get tracked from the device (everything else like meshing, handtracking etc. is working). I already followed the suggestions here (Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) | PolySpatial visionOS | 1.1.6) and enabled “run in background”, set “Background Behavior: Ignore Focus” and “Play Mode Input Behavior: All Device Input Always Goes To Game View”. In the final build, the headpose tracking is working. What else could I try?

I would really appreciate any help, thanks!

Hey there, unfortunately head pose is currently unavailable over P2D. Making a note to follow up if/when it lands.

All right, thanks for the reply!

Are there any possible workarounds for this? P2D is so cool, but I can’t really use it on my project unless there’s head tracking :sob:

We’ll be adding support in the next version(s) of PolySpatial, which we expect to release very soon. I’m not aware of any workarounds possible with the current versions.

That’s really exciting, thanks!

Has this feature been implemented yet? If so where can I find documentation on how to track the users head position?

Yes, and here. For Play to Device, you will probably need the PolySpatial XR plug-in.
