Post Processing + TextMeshPro - Depth of Field - Unity Bug?

Hi.

The image sort of says it all - the Depth of Field effect on the TextMeshPro text seems to be using depth information from the objects directly behind the TMP object rather than the TMP objects position.

Any idea how to fix this?

i am having the exact same issue and couldnt find anything online about it.
