PostProcessing Stack doesn't show in scene view

G’day,

I’ve been messing around with the PostProcessStack in Unity, and it’s really great!
Is there a way to have it show in scene view? I just cant seem to get it to work. I have made sure the camera I have is set to main camera, are there any other tricks to get this to work?

Thanks!
Pete

It’s same for other image effects after 5.6 beta to 5.6p1 and 2017.1 beta

And yet, for whatever reason it’s listed as a bug on the PostProcessStack github but not on the Known Issues section of 5.6.

Apparently, as seen from the github, this was supposed to be fixed in p2 then got pushed to p3, now it’s pushed to p4 due to “failing a graphics test”. Full conversation available HERE

Although, this is all information being shared over the comments section of a bug forum this issue doesn’t even belong in, so I’m not sure if any of that is “official” or not.

Thanks guys,
It’s a shame about that, it would make checking settings a whole lot easier.

This has now been fixed on 5.6p4 which is currently available for download via the “Patch Releases” section of Unity. Everything seems to be working great now!

Thanks, Unity guys and gals!

Nice! Thanks for the head up, I’ve been hanging out for this.
Soo much easier to tweak!
Thanks!

Good to know, now they need to port the fix to 2017.1, are all effects previewable in scene view?

Haha
Each new version of the unity needs a patch to fix this problem :hushed:
