PR/marketing firms - can you recommend one?

Hello,

anyone hired a PR/marketing firm lately and got good (or bad) experience with them ?

I’m currently working on a Dungeon Crawler, named “The Fall of the Dungeon Guardians”, in First Person View, inspired by classics like Dungeon Master and Might & Magic, but featuring a modern combat system based on the triptych “tank/damage dealer/healer” mechanisms.

In about 1 month, I’ll put it in Steam Greenlight, and I hope to release the game within 2 months on my website.

I’d really need help to :

  • define a strategy to present my game
  • create a video trailer
  • do a PR campaign for the Greenlight release
  • do a PR campaign for the game release
  • getting some reviews by established websites & youtubers

Thanks in advance for any tip ! :slight_smile:

Looks like you did a really nice job on this man. Congrats on getting so far into a project!

You don’t need to spend anything to clear greenlight these days. I would focus my money and time purely around the release pr. Although if you need someone to make the trailer for you, then I’m not sure. I just learned to do the trailer myself. It took forever though (but the results were also much better than if someone else did it, since I was able to sort of polish the game in step with what I needed to present - or with stuff I wasn’t happy with in the trailer)).

@frosted ,
thanks !

I’m not a native English speaker, so anyway, I’ll need help to write the PRs.
And I think the Greenlight campaign is a good occasion to start promoting the game, even if it’s not needed to get greenlit.
And I really need someone to take a deep serious look at my game and help me define the strategy to present it. The way I see my game is not the way most people will see it…! :slight_smile:

Where are you based? There is a local company near me that recently promoted crossy road. I’ve never worked with them. But they must have done something right.
