Is there any example of how create loading bar between scenes ?
Unity Pro allows you to call Application.LoadLevelAsync:
Otherwise with Basic your best bet is to paint a single frame with a Loading… message and call the synchronous operation.
No because there is no possibility to do it.
Loading on the iphone is blocking, you won’t get any progress nor can you load in background.
You can show a loading screen that you hide once you enter the new scene for example but you can not make a loading bar if you use LoadLevel
Well it works for me. LoadLevelAsync works perfectly on the iPhone.
With iphone 3 Pro
But neither with iphone 1.x (independent of license) nor with iphone 3 non pro

I can’t see that in the docs for 1.7. Is it Unity 3?
Yes its U3 Pro only.
Unity iPhone 1.x is a branch of Unity 2.1, while async loading is a Unity 2.6+ only feature
So wait…with iPhone Pro we can have one large world and stream data in and out of mem?

you can load asset bundles on the fly and unload them
but 1 large world will still be pretty much restricted cause you have a single cpu that operates in order so don’t expect to do “background loading” without the corresponding consequences.
You can stream in some lightweight stuff but replacing more complex stuff especially stuff that at worst has mesh colliders, will pretty surely not work. But you can always just do tests and see how much you can use it, where the border for your specific case will be
…which is what I expected. Initially I thought this wasn’t possible at all; nice to know either way.
