Premium Videos not Working on Unity Learn

Hey everyone, I’m having a problem watching premium videos on the unity learn site. I get a message that says, “The media could not be loaded either because the server or network failed or because the format is not supported.” I’m wondering if anyone else has the same problem and if there is a simple fix for it.

Having the same issue

Same! Free premium is wasted if videos cannot be played

I tried using Firefox instead of Chrome and it finally works.

Agreed. For some reason, it works on firefox best.

Order of which browser works the best

  1. firefox (allow all cookies in firefox browser)
  2. safari (but still lags)
  3. google chrome (the worst let me tell yah man)

I’m having the same issue here. Given the fact this has happened before, and things were fine until today, I would guess this issue isn’t on our side. I’ve also tried to look at the videos on several different browsers, none worked.

It was working for me until about 3.5 hours ago, which was 3:30pm ACDT(GMT+10:30). I thought it was my school’s internet, which is often unreliable, but it still isn’t working at home with an unfiltered connection.
So, it’s been down for 3.5 hours. Hopefully someone who can fix it notices soon.

Same problem here, none of the videos are currently working on learn.unity.

Everything was working fine yesterday, but today, every video displays an error message.

Having the same issue. Was working fine yesterday. But this morning nothing works. Tried all my different browsers and on my phone, my ipad. It must be a server-side issue preventing the media player from playing the videos.

Having the same issue. Tested under Linux and Windows on few different browsers. I agree, it must be server-side issue.
Of course, it had to happen this one time when I managed get to not distracted and sit down to the course before noon instead of evening :(:(:frowning:

I have the same problem. It should be a server problem.

Yes, Perhaps unity servers are under maintenance and will be back online in some time.

It is not a unity servers issue. I am still having this problem on my PC but it works fine on my laptop.

It seems to be working now. Try clearing your cookies and then trying the videos again.
