Alright folks, let’s hear it. What is the prettiest game you’ve played that tended to use little more than simply lit textures for the majority of its art? No specularity, no normal maps, no rim lighting, just light ‘n’ textures.
Medal of Honor: Allied Assault comes to mind. Uru: Ages Beyond Myst also looked pretty good, but that did use some specular/special shaders if I remember correctly. These are both older games, since most everything uses shader trickery of one kind or another these days.
