Prevent Unity trashing IPHONEOS_DEPLOYMENT_TARGET?

Is there some way to prevent Unity’s “append” build mode from trashing the “IPHONEOS_DEPLOYMENT_TARGET” setting?

We’re building with SDK 3.2 but want deployment to iOS 3.0. But whenever we build, Unity sets it back to 3.2.

The Unity player settings seem to be confused between SDK and iOS target version. The setting is called “IPhone Sdk Version” but its values are called “iPhone OS 3.2”.

If I can’t stop Unity changing the setting, does anyone have a handy build set script that will set it back again?

Thanks!

that option does not exist.
Either your game is build with the os4 sdk or it will be rejected right away.

I created a PostprocessBuildPlayer script to set IPHONEOS_DEPLOYMENT_TARGET back to 3.0 every time the project is built.

Noted, thanks. We will still need to set the deployment target to 3.0.
