Preview terrain from above?

Is there a way, in the Unity editor, to preview a terrain from above? I don’t necessarily want to see every little pixel of detail, but I’d like to get a general idea of what details have been painted on the terrain, without having to navigate through the whole scene with a camera low to the ground (low enough to render the details in full).

make a little code which keeps the current camera rotation and position as one pair of variables, and another pair of variables to put it high above the map facing down

put a script on the camera that says-

if (Input.GetKeyDown ("m")){
    Camera.main.transform.position=Vector3( position far above map );
    Camera.main.transform.rotation=Vector3.down;}

else{return camera to original position And rotation}
