Prewarm is set. Particles still don't run through a full cycle on start.

Looking at the image I attached in another forum (this one won’t let me attach anything) one can see the primary and sub emitters are set to prewarm. No matter what I do, it doesn’t work. The duration and particle lifetime of the primary system can be whatever you tell me, honestly all that matters is that the bright glow around my sun stays constant.

The real area of concern is the other sub emitters. They are solar flares, and I want them to have gone through a full lifetime so they are visible when the player starts, but I can’t seem to get it to work. No idea what’s going on.

If Unity doesn’t want to prewarm emitters, then half of the effects in games made by unity will be broken. I’ll test and see.

Prewarm is set on primary emitter, took prewarm off subemitters. Primary emitter duration is 180. Subemitters are also 180. Lifetime of all emitters is 180. Still prewarm doesn’t work.
