Is that should be less upgrade price if I own Unity 2.x Indie? Or is this is the thing that Unity plan as I’ve seen.
Just wonder since I’m going to upgrade from 1.x indie to 2.x indie at this time.

Unity Indie 1.x was $249. Now it’s $199.
The pricing of Unity Pro has remained the same.
I’m not happy that you have to pay more overall if you want to upgrade to Pro after buying Indie, vs. buying Pro to start, but there is possibly some rationale behind this. What you mentioned seems perfectly in-line to me.
