Pro Water?

Am I missing something or is the water still not right?
Daylight water is pink, not right.

Looks fine here, definitely not pink.

No, my mistake, that was the old Pro water that is pink, what I have now is dull blue look, no reflection just kind of a gradient.
My Pro Standard Water: Scripts, Material and Shader folders are all empty.
Definitely not looking anything like water as the old 2.6 water did (which is now pink).

Care to post a screen of how the water looks and the water folder opened with all the folders etc in the Pro Standard folder?

Import the Water (Pro Only) package.

–Eric

Ok, did that but all I get is a grey material (water plane-lambert1) and the river water shader which is a script.
What do I do with those?
If I am supposed to build my own FX/Water texture I don’t see all the needed materials for the slots.

Anyone got some further information on this?

You could check the Bootcamp demo and see what they did. I would but I am not at home right now.

Had a look at Boot camp, some custom scripts there.
Have made a little progress in building up one of my own but not there yet.

That’s actually not what happens:

If you’re not getting that, maybe your unitypackage is corrupt. The river water shader is definitely a shader, not a script. (Though I guess shaders are scripts in a way.)

Yeah, definitely something wrong, my list is missing a lot of things that are on your list.
Will download the installer again.
Actually, I never downloaded the release package from the site since I read that 3.0.0f5 was the latest release and was already using that.

I downloaded the installer from the main Unity.com page and it is 3.0.0f5.
I removed the old installation, ran a registry cleaner and reinstalled.
I Imported the assets again but still the count of items being imported was off so I deleted the entire Standard assets folder from the project and created a new (empty) project, exported the Standard Assets folder and imported that into my project and it seems to all be ok now.
