Problem creating or editing Material

Since today I have this very weird Bug in Unity 3.1f3 Pro:

Basicly you’re not able to change anything anymore in any material. You can without any problem run the game in the Editor, and the materials appear to be correct, when you open the material and want to change something you get this:

Problem.png: a new Material I just created before noticing the bug.
Problem2.png: A Material that was already existing.

The last time I checked the Materials they were still editable, and all I did since was playing around with the directional lights in the scene and importing a new Texture and Normal Map for the new Material.

Is there anything save setting up the project anew I can do to fix this problem? I wouldn’t like to do the latter as it would cost me some hours (I have a lot of terrains to import), and this bug might happen again.

Any help is appreciated.

Click on the ball icon to the left of the name of the material/shader.

This is a space-saving feature.

Oh… right.

Cool, so it was less of a bug and more of a hidden feature… well, that teaches me once again to read the****ing Manual!

Thanks a lot for your help!
