[Problem] Exporting from 3Ds Max to unity

I animated a model in 3ds max, all worked properly, but when I exported it to FBX 2010 or 2009, there appear 2 warnings telling me this:

The plug-in has detected objects with Physique modifier deformations. The deformation will still be exported but, due to the limited support of this modifier, we recommend using the skin modifier:
-_unamed

AND

The FBX plug-in detects the use of the ‘Additional Bump’ parameter. The plug-in will ignore this parameter on the following NormalBump object(s):
-Map #4

Can anyone help me with this? Please, I really need to fix this, it is crucial for my project.
I hope someone can help me.
Thanks.

Hi Entsuo_75, i have bad news about the first point.
FBX doesn’t support physique, so you need to use skin instead; it’s hard and i know… i went through this too :frowning:

Physique to skin converter

I haven’t tried it yet.

Or go to www.scriptspot.com and do a search.

Well, the physique to skin converter plugin doesn’t work. I’ve tried another one and nothing. Guess I have to work with skin from now on. At least I don’t have to remake my animations.
Thx for all guys.

There was a post about this a while ago:

I’m not sure of the above link is the same as what was previously mentioned… but this worked fine for me, as I too was working with a Physique modifier and not Skin. Just follow the instructions and you should be ok.
