Hey everybody,
I build a gaem with multiplayer.
I give the game to my friend and play together.
I using MasterServer.
I find the server of my friend on the Server List, I click on “Connect” and waiting but…
It’s writing “Error: Failed To connect”…
Why!?
In tried to play with anothr friend and… it works…
And with another friend it’s don’t work too…
WHT!?
Please help me!
Did you check your firewall settings and those of your friends?
Did you try this over internet? When you did, then your router/NAT will probably be the problem. Check your router Settings regarding Portforwarding, eg.
We playing with Internet…
Still, I have that problem.
What I need to do???
Maybe I have problem with the Port?
Maybe I need To open port’s?
Yes you need to open the needed ports and maybe you also need to reconfigure your routers to forward the ports. Only if this is the problem.
But I can to play with another friend…
Not every router or system is equally configurated.
Don’t make a multiplayer game if you don’t know how to check and debug network connections. I’m serious, you’re only putting yourself up for massive amounts of frustration.
How can I “equally configurated” (coordinate) between the two routers???
You don’t particularly need to, as far as I’m aware. As long as the server has the port you have selected to run the game on open ( i.e. port forwarding enabled for that specific port), you should be able to connect.
Other issues may be firewalls blocking connections to your application, so you probably want to check software firewalls on both the server and client computers.
Okay…
But, Still, We can’t playing together…
So… How We can Fix the problem?
Oh and one more thing,
We turn off the FireWall but it’s still don’t works…
UP.
UP.
Okay…

Is your server application running on a separate server with direct access to the internet or is your server application running on a mere desktop computer?

What else should we tell you to solve your problem? Did you even try to listen to what we said?
