problem importing a mesh

having a problem importing a mesh from 3d max into unity iv got it in fbx file when its inported the model looks fine in the preview but its all squashed and destorted in the game view and mesh preview any was to fix this?

Maybe Inverted normals dont export the model while its in polygonal modeling convert it to mesh then export it and maybe it will work.

The model is negatively scaled. Try freezing the transformations in Max. Besides that, I dragged it into Unity (default import settings) and it seemed to look fine.

yeh it should im attempting to replace the players mesh with that

I didnt have to touch anything.I only droped it in the scene and it looks normal.
