Hello,
I’ve got a stange problem. I bought a model pack from a 3D art supplier which included animations. I imported the model as a fbx file and after a little bit of adjustment it looked great. But when I tried to set up the animations I had problems. The model included documentation listing where each animation began and ended but when I split the animtions using the timing the artist gives the animations are wrong. Through experimentation I found that I needed to multiply all the frame counts given me by the artist by 1.25. After doing this some of the animations didn’t loop properly. Am I doing something wrong? Is there somethign I need to adjust in the animation import so that the animations import correctly?
The table below shows (left to right) the animation name. the start and end frames as given me by the artist and the start and end frames which I have found actually work for me in practice. According to the artist when he opens the model in max the last frame is 648. Yet when I import it the last frame is 810 (I think).
Anyone know why this might be?
regards,
Tony
