I’m creating a 2d game on unity, with my character going through different levels, for the moment I have two scenes so for two levels. At first, I launch the game, everything works, but when I die, the game over menu I created is displayed as desired, but when I press retry, the level restarts and my person is duplicated, dubliquated, there are 2 of them. In addition, one life bar on top of the other, so two too. And if a remers, the game over menu no longer works at all. The problem is that in scene 1, in scene 2 everything works, and I don’t see the difference, I don’t understand. Moreover when I test, I have the impression that it’s random because sometimes I launch the game directly on unity and everything works, I do retry it starts again, and sometimes as soon as I launch, at the first retry it makes the bug. Moreover when I do the build to test, this time at the first retry it makes the bug all the time, and always that for the first level, otherwise at the second everything works fine. So in my opinion, the problem doesn’t come from the scripts since they are the same ones executed for all levels, but why does the bug persist at the first level and not at the next, I can’t find a solution I don’t know, in the middle of the game I don’t see the character in duplicate, dubliquated in the hierarchy but yet he is in the game, The same goes for the rest. These are elements in the dontdestroyonloadscene. Also when the bug comes the number of pieces displayed overlap, I have the impression that the bug causes a lot of problems.
