Problem porting models from my workstations to my laptop.

Here is the problem:

I have a big model, and i’ve generated the lighmap uv’s inside Unity, when i open the project in my workstation (win 7), everything is fine and cool.

When i pick the files and copy them to my macbook unity takes one entire life to import those files, and the lighmap uv’s are messed up (i assume that Unity is trying to re-generate the uv’s so it is destroying the previously generated UV’s) so the import proccess takes a lot and it is useless.

I tried doing a package to import the project, and it happens the same thing.

Some help please, i don’t know how to figure this out!

What version of Unity are you using? Before Unity 3.4 there were issues with UV unwrapping between mac/pc. However if you went the package route then the mac shouldn’t have to re-import the model iirc.
