Problem with 2d collider when shooting

I’m making a 2D multiplayer game, and I don’t know why the bullet doesn’t collide ! I added in the void OnTrigger… a debug log and the function is not called ! I need some tips please.

1.) At least one of the objects colliding must have a NON kinematic rigidbody component.
2.) (obvious but) make sure the colliders are checked as a trigger
3.) You didn’t add any code, but make sure you are using the correct trigger type in the method (collider != collision, collider2d != collider, etc)

To be more specific, since you said it is a 2d game and you are checking for trigger collision, the code would be

 void OnTriggerEnter2D(Collider2D other)
         if(other.gameObject.tag == "something";
              //do something

You are not providing alot of info. My main guess is that you are using OnTriggerEnter instead of OnTriggerEnter2D. Unity - Scripting API: MonoBehaviour.OnTriggerEnter2D(Collider2D)

Other reasons might be that you are not providing a rigidbody to the trigger.
