That the 3DNavigator from Connexion is very wanted, you can adept in this forum!
The logicaly and simplest way to use this 3DMouse for own games is to read out the Joystick/Gamepad information via the project input settings > “Joystick Axis”.
But nothing happens here!!
With the MAC freeware tool “Joystick And Gamepad Tester” (from AlphaOmega Software) I can clearly see that the 3DNavigator gives 6 parameters back.
There are xyz-rotation parameters while turning and tilting the 3DNavigator button. And there are xyz - axis parameters while pushing the button forward, back, up and down.
No one of these parameters has an effect in Unity3D while “Project settings / Input Type/ Joystick Axis” is adjusted.
Is this a misusage or a bug of Unity3D 2.1?
