Hi there
This is why I HATE antivirus software. 100% clean windows installation, clean unity installation etc with latest avg and it picks up the player_win.exe as a virus and I accidentally removed it without looking carefully at the message.
How frustrating, so my purpose for this post is 1) to let anyone else know about this and 2) to ask if someone would be so kind to share that file which is located (on xp) here:
C:\Program Files\Unity\Editor\Data\PlaybackEngines\windowsstandaloneplayer\player_win.exe
