OK, when I try to import my little model into Unity from Blender, all the planes have only two sides. Any ideas why this happens? How do I stop it?
It’s impossible for a plane to have more than two sides, so I’m not sure what you mean.

OK, I extrude the planes into 3D objects (so they look almost like cubes.) Only 2 faces are displayed, though. Do I have to use cubes? (because I was following a tutorial which said use planes.)
I got the same issue exactly. It looks like if the outside faces get invisible when you look them directly in the scene view
