I’m not developing a game but I found a problem with actual games using unity engine.
With installed Citrix Workspace, all the listed games are crashing at startup without useful informations in the crashlogs.
- 7 Days to die
- Battletech
- Uboat (currently in development)
Uninstalling Citrix Workspace solved the problem.
Maybe this information will help some devs to save time.
This is a resolved issue, so you need to talk to the developers of the games that still have this problem. This issue is fixed in Unity 2018.2.17f1, and 2017.4.16f1 LTS. If the developers are not aware the issue has been reported as fixed by Unity then you could pass this info along (I haven’t tested the fix, just going off the bug report for the problem). They will need to move their project to one of the versions of Unity with the fix and create a new build.
I can report that the game The Forest has the same issue. (Version: 1.09 Build ID: 3039027)
Hopefully the next the Forest update coming tomorrow will have this fix.
Below info to help The Forest players find their way here:
