Problem with friction between character and collider

Put a physics material on the ground or the player, and set the friction to 0. Otherwise, make your ground tiles out of individual edge-colliders, and then define the sides with a wall material that has 0 friction, so your ground still has friction.

The problem is that you’re applying force towards the wall, and because it has full friction, it keeps you from sliding down.
