Hello Im new here.
I made a grass model in Blender and i wanted to use it in my Unity project so i exported into an fbx file and dragged it into Unity.
But when I use it on my terrain i have 2 problems with it.
- Its appearing upside down on the terrain
- The wind effect isnt correct, it moves the whole mesh away.
Any help is appreciated.
Could it be that you did not rotate the model in blender correctly? I believe the up axis in blender is Z while in Unity it’s Y. After rotation, you need to ctrl+a and apply the rotation. And in the export menu settings tinker with the “Up”. The “Apply Scallings” should also be “FBX All”, though i might be misremembering, been a while since i used it.
