Problem with importing textures from Blender

I’m having trouble getting textures to show up on my models in Unity that I made in Blender. The textures are just showing as default gray gradient when imported into Unity.

I have read a few posts and it seems like some people are saying that you need to bring the image files into Unity and then reapply the materials onto the model again. Does this mean that you need to retexture every piece of a Blender imported model in Unity again?

Is it not possible to create a textured model in Blender and import the textured model into Unity and retain the textures without having to retexture again in Unity?

I think I have used the appropriate methods of unwrap and project from view on my textures in Blender.

I don’t think this is the right place to ask this question.

To answer it: Go into the program, split the view and select it to be UV Image, place your mouse on the 3d view, hit the “U” key, and select the Smart UV Project. Now just save the texture and you’re ready to go!

But next time, head over to Unity Forums External Tools to ask questions about programs other than Unity. Thanks for understanding.
