Why whenever i import a model into unity I have a problem with the model. Mostly Trees, Flowers, Grass, and some animals. the two screenshots shows whats happening when i import this models. tif, obj, fbk all do it. I import a spider webs and does the same thing the tree does. is there a fix for this…
Recalculate your normals so that are all facing outside. Some of those faces are flipped so your seeing (or rather not seeing) the back face which is invisible.
I didnt make the models. I am just a beginner with Unity. So who would i do that.
can someone tell me how to do this please
my way, i did it was. i highlighted the leaves and then went down to change the shade from Diffuse to transparent> bump diffuse. Took away the squares
Which makes perfect sense in hindsight. A shader without transparency will always have all faces (the mesh itself) fully opaque so just to be exact, it’s now correctly applying the transparency that was used in the model’s textures
yep… you would figured, that putting it in Transparent. You would think, would make the leaves, transparent (see through).
