It seems you are using scripts that are not compatible with the version of Unity you are using. This leads to those compilation issues and that’s why they can’t be loaded. Try to get scripts that work with the version of Unity that you are using.
As you are a beginner, it might be easier to create a new project and import the new scripts there.

I don’t know this package. However, according to the video, it contains the “Standard Assets” folder. You may try to delete it and use the new one that comes with Unity 5. As it looks like a complete scene, you most likely need to replace a bunch of things.
